As announced on September 10, 2019, Dynamics 365 customers should prepare for the move to Unified Interface. The deadline for transmission is October 1, 2020.

The Unified Interface uses responsive web design principles to provide an optimal viewing and interaction experience for any screen size, device, or orientation.Unified interface apps are the only apps supported on phones and tablets. Microsoft’s goal is to make the Unified Interface the only client interface across all Dynamics 365 apps.

What action should you take?

As a Global Admin or Service Admin you can access the Unified Interface scheduling portal to view your environments that are scheduled to be moved to Unified Interface in the next 30 days.

This portal will show all the environments associated to your tenant. You can review and if required, update the transition dates. Please note that if you need to postpone a transition, you’ll need to file an exception request within the portal. Environment transition dates will be locked down 2 days prior to the move.
